CONSIGNMENT IS ONLY ACCEPTED THE FIRST 7 DAYS OF EACH MONTH ~ 10AM-2PM. NO EXCEPTIONS PLEASE.
Consignment Standards:
- 2 bags or boxes of items per account per month MAXIMUM. You may bring unlimited baby gear items.
- All clothes must be freshly washed. This means washed within the last 36 hours, period. This insures you make the most for your items. It also gives our customers the comfort in knowing all of the items in our store are fresh and clean!
- All larger items must be clean, free of dust and freshly wiped down with anti-bacterial cleaner.
- Setting up an account is quick and easy. It takes about 10 minutes.
As your child(ren) outgrow their items, such as clothing up to size 16, toys, strollers, swings, cribs, books, etc., you bring them into our store freshly laundered, and free of stains, rips, and missing buttons. We then price accordingly and sell those items in our store for you.
Do I need to schedule an appointment? No! But, please call us at (250) 374-8706 to ensure we have space for larger items. Keep in mind it does take about 10 minutes to set up your account intially, and after that we consider all drop offs “Drop and Run”.
How can I make money $$$? Bring us your stylish, in-season clothing and gear, along with other really cool and unique stuff, and if we can sell it in our store, we’ll get started! We look for brands that are meant to last so they can be loved again. We generally consign clothing (sizes newborn - kids age 16), shoes, educational and interactive toys, books, and gear. We are also interested in high chairs, cribs, gates, swings, Bumbos, Exersaucers, designer diaper bags & other fun stuff!
How should I prepare my items? Please take a few moments to look through and make sure your items are flaw free. Accepted items are freshly laundered (within one week), from a smoke-free home, free of stains, tears, missing snaps or buttons, broken zippers, or visible wear. Place your multi-piece groupings together … they sell better than individual items, which means more money back in your pocket!
We purchase books in excellent condition, no visible wear or writing inside and and DVD's must be in their original case and be free of scratches.
We're always looking for baby gear in meticulously clean condition, as if you were giving it to your own child! Please make sure your items include fresh batteries, and all original parts - as well as the instruction manual if you still have it.
What is your Return Policy? No cash returns. Exchanges within 3 days of purchase for STORE CREDIT ONLY on clothing or shoes not previously tried on in the store. Tags must be attached, and receipt must be presented for store credit on eligible items.
What season are you taking?
- February to June - Spring and Summer clothing
- July to January - Fall and Winter clothing
***Swimwear, Jeans and Leotards are always “In season”!***
Please Note, We Do Not Sell The Following:
- Any recalled product
- Underwear or Training Pants
- Maternity Undergarments
- Dishes of any sort (including bottles)
- Bicycle Helmets or Life Jackets
- Bathtubs/bath seats manufactured before 2007 (date is on bottom)
- As of January 2012, no car seats will be accepted.
How do I get paid? We sort the items we are interested in from the “No Thank You’s” and will set them aside if you have opted to have them returned. We will call you and you then have 5 business days to collect items. You receive 50% of the final selling price. Should any of your items be sold during Bag Sale (3rd week of every month), you will recieve a proportionate share of the bag (Example - bag is worth $100 with 20 items. Each consignor in the bag will receive the same payout based on the proportionate share. An average payout is between 30-35%). We do not age any inventory or hold any other regular sales. At the end of each calendar month, the system will download any items sold during that 30 day period. Stop in for any money owed you at any time after the 1st of the following month, or let it accumulate as store credit.
Why did you pass on some or all of my items? Our customers are looking for newer items generally purchased in the last 3 years, in excellent condition, odor and stain-free. They are looking for mid- to high-end brands, although in certain sought-after sizes we expand. Please understand that limited space and our customer's preferences dictate our selection guidelines. We may pass because we are overstocked on certain items, sizes or find that certain styles aren't desired by our customers.
